1. Scope and operator
This agreement governs Office (also called Don Books), including the BSD Office RO QuickBooks integration and Office access through the Timbernet API. Donald G. Wiklund is the Office operator (“we,” “us”). Office is a private business system for the operator and authorized users of the businesses whose records it manages. It is not an Intuit product.
By using Office, you agree to these terms. If you act for a business, you must have authority to use its information and connected accounts. If you do not agree, stop using Office and contact the operator about access to your business records.
2. Your license and access
We grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use Office for authorized business purposes while your access remains active. This does not transfer ownership of the software or grant access to another person’s records. Your assigned role and resource permissions determine the functions and data available to you.
Keep your sign-in credentials secure. Do not share accounts, evade access controls, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, or use records for an unauthorized purpose. Notify the operator promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Business records and connected services
You retain your rights in the business information you provide. You authorize us and the service providers described in the privacy policy to store and process that information as needed to provide, secure, and support Office.
An authorized QuickBooks company administrator must approve the QuickBooks connection. BSD Office RO reads accounting records and reports for Office; its connector does not create, edit, delete, pay, or send QuickBooks accounting transactions. Intuit’s accounting authorization may describe broader permissions, but the connector restricts its accounting operations to reads. Other Office workflows have their own permissions and may change Office records.
QuickBooks and BioTrack remain separate sources. Imported evidence and comparisons do not automatically replace either source’s records or establish that differing totals are errors. You are responsible for reviewing records and decisions appropriate to your business. QuickBooks subscriptions, provider availability, and the providers’ own agreements continue to apply.
4. Automated assistance
Office may use automated extraction, classification, and AI assistance in authorized workflows. Output can be incomplete or incorrect. Check the underlying evidence before relying on an answer for a payment, tax filing, legal obligation, or other consequential decision. Office does not provide professional accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice.
5. Availability and changes
We may maintain, modify, or suspend features and connections, including when a provider changes its service or access must be protected. Unless a separate agreement says otherwise, Office is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise of uninterrupted access or error-free output, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here excludes a responsibility or right that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
6. Disconnecting and ending access
The authorized owner can disconnect QuickBooks through Timbernet’s QuickBooks controls or the connected-app controls in QuickBooks. Disconnecting stops future collection; it does not cancel a QuickBooks subscription or automatically erase previously retained business evidence. Contact the operator for access, export, correction, or deletion requests.
We may revoke access when authorization ends or when necessary to address misuse or protect records. Record retention and outstanding obligations continue as described in the privacy policy and applicable law.
7. Updates and contact
We will identify revisions by the effective date on this page and provide notice of material changes through Office or direct communication before those changes apply. Changes apply prospectively. Any separate written business agreement controls where it expressly conflicts with these terms.
